1. Which credit and debit cards do you accept?
We accept: Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Access, Solo and Maestro. We no longer accept American express. If you have any queries about card payments please e-mail us via info@heritagequilting.co.uk.

2. Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, at times - check the website for Special Offers

3. Do your prices include VAT?
All prices quoted, except books, include VAT.

4. Is there a minimum order value?
No, but we have a minimum postage charge of £0.90


5. How do I know if the product is in stock?
If the 'add' button is shown on the page then this product is either in stock or expected shortly. If the 'sold out' button is shown then we have sold out of this item.

6. What are your fabrics made of?
All our patchwork fabrics are 100% cotton, other than a few specialized fabrics (eg. Plastic coated) for bags etc. We advise that all cotton fabrics are washed before use to remove any residual dye. The majority of patchwork fabrics are 44 inches (112cm) wide - unless otherwise indicated on the relevant website page.

We sell both polyester and cotton waddings, and the very popular 80/20 mix, they come in a range of sizes and widths.

7. How are the products packed?
Fabrics will be cut to order from the bolt, then packaged and sent to you. Pre-cut waddings are in packs with marked sizes and composition.

8. Which areas do you deliver to?
We are able to supply fabrics and notions to most parts of the world, using the UK postal service.

9. How are the products delivered and what is the cost?
Goods are shipped by UK Postal Service or Parcel Post. We reserve the right to charge for any additional costs incurred, such as redirections or Special Delivery *; if you require any of these please contact us for a price. Most of our fabric for website and mail orders is cut specifically to customer's order requirements. Due to the volume of orders, an order may take is 5-7 working days to despatch and 2-3 days for delivery in the UK.

* Special Delivery: Royal Mail Special Delivery, a service that guarantees delivery before 1pm on the day after despatch (by Monday if despatched on a Friday). Royal Mail Special Delivery Saturday Guarantee is also available at a further charge.

Postage outside the UK will show a charge of £10.00 and be calculated at cost when your goods are packed. ANY OVERPAYMENT WILL BE ADJUSTED ON YOUR CREDIT CARD PAYMENT.. If the postage exceeds £10 we will contact you to ensure that you wish to continue.

Postage inside the UK will show a charge of £6.99 and be calculated at cost when your goods are packed. ANY OVERPAYMENT WILL BE ADJUSTED ON YOUR CREDIT CARD PAYMENT.. If the postage exceeds £6.99 we will contact you to ensure that you wish to continue.

10. What do I do if I ordered the wrong product?
We can only accept fabric returns as a result of incorrect ordering and only at our discretion. Products must not be returned to us without prior notification and must be uncut and unwashed. All returns will be subject to a handling charge. We must be notified within 7 days of receipt.

11. What do I do if I am not satisfied with the product?
All our orders are rigorously checked to ensure there are no faults in the fabric. In the unlikely event that a Heritage Quilting product fails to meet your requirements then please contact us immediately, so we can investigate the problem and take any action deemed necessary.

12. Are Heritage Quilting's ordering and payment systems secure?
Yes. Heritage Quiltinguse the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available) to collect your name, address, order and credit card details.

13. Will you pass my details to any third party?
We do not share your personal information with other companies. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
